Alexandra Branscombe is a young science writer covering climate change and renewable energy. Alexandra is a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with degrees in science journalism and conservation biology. Prior experience in science writing includes online publications for Scientific American, Ecorazzi.com, and a communications internship for the Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory.
Alexandra’s passion for the environment and science communication stemmed from her experiences growing up on a small farm in Wisconsin and at her grandparents’ house in the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest.
