The Leslie Marshall Show: Wildfires–Climate Change + Criminal Justice Reform
Climate Change, Criminal Justice Reform
In light of the massive fires burning across the entire country of Australia and the increase in the size and frequency of deadly wildfires worldwide, Generation Progress guest hosts Brent J. Cohen and Charlotte Hancock speak with Lola M. Cornish, a resident of Northern California about her personal experience with wildfires and how she came to the conclusion that climate change is at least partially to blame for this growing problem.
Then, in the second half of the show, Brent and Charlotte are joined by Brandon Smith, the Founder and Executive Director of The Forestry and Fire Recruitment Program, who talks about the intersection between wildfire fighting, environmental protection, and criminal justice reform.
