Virtual event–Sign up on Mobilize

Join a coalition of advocates, experts, and college students on October 29, 2021 for a virtual rally in support of debt cancellation, funding for HBCUs and MSIs, and debt-free college.

The rally will kick off at 11am ET with remarks from leaders from The Live Movement, the NAACP, the Student Debt Crisis Center, and more on what it will take to end the student debt crisis for good. 

The virtual event closes out a larger debt-free college for all week of action, which includes constituent meetings with U.S. Senate offices, phonebanking, and a storyteller workshop. Participants will call for executive action on student debt cancellation and debt-free college solutions, including the passage of President Biden's free community college proposal, funding for students at HBCUs and MSIs, and doubling the maximum Pell grant.

Note: this event was previously planned as an outdoor rally and march, but was moved online as a result of inclement weather.
