Megan is currently studying literary journalism at the University of California, Irvine. Aside from her work as a criminal justice reporter for Generation Progress, she is associate news editor of UC Irvine’s university’s newspaper, the New University, where she spends time reporting on campus issues. In her spare time, she loves hanging out in doughnut shops, reading good books, and drinking mediocre coffee.
